PINEWOOD STUDIOS

Sound stage for Production Audio

N Stage at Pinewood is a fully treated sound stage. We also have acoustic drapes surrounding the volume to enhance the ability for clients to capture the audio performance at the same time as the motion capture, reducing the need for separate ADR sessions.
LED Virtual Production

We are able to set up an LED volume in our main stage to enable a blending of motion capture, live actor and unreal environments at the same time. Please get in touch if you want to know more about this new service we can offer in partnership with iMAG displays.
Stunts

We are able to organise and book stunt performers, riggers and coordinators. We are experienced at building set pieces for climbing and jumping as well as wire work for pulls and jumps. We are also familiar in using specialist equipment like a ‘tuning fork’ to capture swimming, flying, wall running and floating.
Green Room

There is a dedicated area for the performers to relax and recharge between takes. There are snacks and drinks, comfy seating and dining tables. This area can also be used by the director to prep any scenes and collaborate in a relaxed environment.
Client area

We have a dedicated number of desks and comfy gaming chairs for our clients and directors to have the best view of the stage. This allows them to set up any equipment, PCs and video conferencing, enabling collaboration and giving production teams their own space on shoot days.
Witness Cameras

We run Black Magic 4k witness cameras, fully operated by a camera crew to capture the reference footage that we deliver alongside the selected data a client chooses. The cameras are fully integrated with our video recording and distribution system. The cameras are portable and can be positioned anywhere around, and inside the volume for flexibility.
'Behind the Scenes'

If you want to shoot a BTS reel, showing how your VFX, Game, Music video or TV show was made, we can book crew and arrange for on set time in-between shoots to grab that key interview. We can then deliver the footage and audio to you post shoot, for you to edit as you wish..
ROM volume

Dedicated volume area for capturing each performer’s full ‘Range Of Movements’, before entering the main volume stage for the shoot. This gives flexibility to overlap capturing ROM data for multiple performers, whist the shoot is taking place in the main volume.

Mocap Volume

Trillith Studios

Trillith Studio

Located on the Trillith Studio lot, means that we can shoot in our dedicated volume, but also set up on other main unit sets if required. This gives flexibility for the production company to blend different film techniques with motion capture.
Capture volume

The dedicated performance capture volume at Trillith Studios is 12m x 15m (40ft x 50ft) in size. and runs the Vicon camera system.
ROM volume

Dedicated volume area for capturing each performer’s full ‘Range Of Movements’, before entering the main volume stage for the shoot. This gives flexibility to overlap capturing ROM data for multiple performers, whist the shoot is taking place in the main volume.

‘STUDIO 1’ @ SIDE London

SIDE London

SIDE, part of the PTW group, works at the cutting edge of interactive media as a provider of audio services for the global entertainment market. With over 20 years’ experience and an international network of resources and state-of-the-art facilities. Imaginarium studios has now installed a full performance capture volume located at SIDE London’s Studio 1 near Kings Cross.
Capture volume

The performance capture volume at Studio 1 is 5m x 3m (16ft x 10ft) in size, and runs with 16 Vicon cameras driving the Shogun system.
2 witness cameras are also used to give the animation teams the reference footage alongside the .fbx files of movement data.
1 - 2 person capture

Full Body performance capture, includng Audio, Face, Body, Fingers and props simultaneously. The size of the space is perfect for smaller narrative driven game cut scenes and cinematics.
FADR + Capture

Using either a mono or stereo HMC configuration, we can record, process and deliver face data for all our clients pipelines. Working in partnership with SIDE means that all ADR needs are taken care of and synced with full performance capture.
The Audio Booth experience

With a viewing window & teleprompter , the performance director, audio engineer, capture team and the actors can be acoustically isolated but work collaboratively to extract the best overall performance in real time.
